Well folks, what about that, the MAIN stand at Wigan Athletic's DW Stadium will be commemorated to the memory of every single person who ever set foot in Springfield Park!

Today, Saturday 11th July 2009, is the day when four or five members of the Wigan Athletic community will meet to discuss the best way to convince Wigan Athletic chairman, Mr Dave Whelan, to re name the East Stand after the club's former home.

The good people over at NotAPartchOn have done this campaign proud. It is with supporters like those around that you have a gut feeling that this campaign is destined for success.

Support is not slowing down!

The Wigan Observer will today run a story about YOTAC's campaign for a stand at the DW Stadium to be named after Wigan Athletic's former home.

The SPS Campaign has, if need be, been offered financial support from a blast from the past!

Ten days in and the support is certainly there.

Over here at YOTAC we pride ourselves in telling it like it is, and ninety nine times out of a hundred we can claim to be in touch with most supporters and their feelings. That is why, as from today, we are starting a campaign that will hopefully spread throughout the world wide web courtesy of our friends at other sites, in a joint quest to get the East Stand renamed as the 'Springfield Park Stand'.
