Let him talk about everyone else. He only embarrasses WAFC and the fans supporters when he talks about us. At least this way he only makes a fool of himself!

So what?
If our chairman is a 'Man Yoo' admiring, Ferguson bumming, Liverpool fan sympathizing egotistical maniac who once had to piss on his fingers to keep warm, who once broke his leg in a cup final? LOL. Seriously though, he needs to stop opinionating on issues outside of his own club, especially when it concerns a club we are playing, or have just played. He just stated the obvious, anyway

Dave, I'm sure a clever lad like you has already worked out that the PL are only bothered about half a dozen sides - the very rich ones and the FA are only bothered about another half dozen and West Scam.
The rest of us can go and whistle. Pompey are only being kept going because it wouldn't look too good for the brand if a PL side folded, but you watch them go tits up as soon as they're relegated

Can't believe Whelan was rambling on about Liverpool FC's plight.
Christ, it's nothing to do with you, Dave. Leave it!!!! leave it!!!! As for Brian Reade. Typical koppite. Not heard one person give us credit from their side. I have loads of them on my Facebook, from Skem, and not one has said "well played". All just moaned about how bad they are. Typical Koppites.

Well it's happened. Chester City FC wound up today in the court. And you know what? I feel terribly sad about it.
Why? Because that could of been us. No, seriously. It wasn't all that long ago we were playing them. Was it 1997/98? or something like that? Perhaps a season earlier? I recall one visit to the Diva Stadium. I think we got beat, because I seem to remember loads of little kids giving the V's after the game. Who would have thought then, that we'd be in the top flight, and at the same time, they'd be wound up? And what about their history? Ok, we aren't talking European finals and FA Cup wins. They were pretty similar to how we were, thriving on a few decent cup runs and the odd pop at a big club. They had a small fan base. But that fan base, as any other, had a heart. That history of theirs, included suchlikes as Harry McNally, Graham Barrow, Roberto Martinez and even Ian Rush. Ok, they were from distant days, but does this all mean that the history counts for nothing? How do the fans deal with what's happened? I feel so sorry for them. I actually feel very bitter that the F.A. let's these things happen. I believe Cardiff and Southend have been given a set deadline to sort things out by. The powers that be seem to know what is going on, yet seem like they don't want to help. It's a disgrace, and just talking about it to a friend, he like I, thinks that this is far more sinister, with a lot of people in the F.A. lining their pockets. I'll be honest. I never liked Chester. It was always a bad place to go, whether it was Sealand Road, or the Diva Stadium. Do you remember that shed on the away end at Sealand Road? And that pitch? A mudbath. David Hamilton rugby tackling a breaking away David Thompson? Dodgy goals? Stuart Rimmer? Gary Bennett? Billy Stewart? Graham Abel? Brian Croft? etc. All that history......gone. What a bloody shame. Oh, and can I add that the Premier League really does need to hang it's head in shame. In the summer, Chester lined up friendlies against top flight sides, such as Liverpool and, er Burnley, to name but two. Their idea was to get some revenue from the games. The Premier League put the khybosh on the idea by PREVENTING the Premier League sides from playing, due to Chester's financial status. What an absolute disgrace.
